Mango Lemonade or Limeade

This refreshing mango lemonade or limeade is a tropical twist on a classic drink. Sweet mangoes, tangy citrus, and a hint of mint make this beverage perfect for hot days, barbecues, or any time you need a cooling drink.

Ingredients:

  • 2 ripe mangoes, peeled and diced
  • 3/4 cup fresh lemon juice or lime juice (about 4-5 lemons or limes)
  • 4 cups cold water
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar (adjust to taste)
  • Ice cubes for serving
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)
  • Lemon or lime slices for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Blend the mango: In a blender, combine the diced mango with 2 cups of water. Blend until smooth.
  2. Strain (optional): For a smoother drink, strain the mango puree through a fine mesh sieve to remove any fibers.
  3. Mix the lemonade/limeade: In a large pitcher, combine the mango puree, lemon or lime juice, sugar, and the remaining 2 cups of water. Stir well until the sugar is completely dissolved.
